Meet our family
Mike has lived on the Wy-Wurry Caravan Park since his Dad and Mum bought it in 1986. Mim moved on in 2000 and Mike and Mim married in 2002. They have a son called Jamie who is now 12. Mike, Mim and Jamie all love living here and have fallen in love with the Park, the location and of course the wonderful sea views! They could not envisage being any where else, so when Mike’s parents decided it was time to retire it was a natural progression for Mike and Mim to take over the running of the park. Mike and Mim bought the Park in January this year 2015.
For the last 6 months Mike Mim and Jamie (friends and local businesses) have all been working extremely hard to bring the Park up to date. Painting, gardening, knocking down the old caravans, having the concrete plinths dug up and new ones put down especially for the new Holiday Homes. These they have lovingly chosen for their future customers. Mike and Mim have taken in to consideration all what customers would like and require to have everything they can wish for. (A real home from home)
All the electrics have been updated and upgraded for the purpose of all customers to enjoy using their own dishwashers, washing machines/tumble dryers inside their holiday homes, no inconvenience of trips to the laundrette is needed. Work is still in progress and it’s been exciting to see the Park rejuvenated.

Wy-Wurry Caravan Park/ Holiday Homes is situated in the village of Corton.
Corton is a small coastal village on the Suffolk coast between Lowestoft and Gt Yarmouth and lies close to the villages of Gunton and Hopton-on-Sea.
The School house, Village hall and various other houses and buildings in Corton were built by the famous Jeremiah Colman.
Corton has a lot to offer, a village shop and swimming pool near Our Park Wy-Wurry.
There are 2 Public Houses in the village. They both serve food lunch time and in the evening and hold various functions.
There is also a Chinese takeaway in the street.
There is a playing field and 2 churches. Corton has a Methodist Church in the village and St.Bartholomew's Church with its 15th century tower is more remote being situated on the back road to Hopton.
Beside the lure of the uncrowded beach there is the well known 'Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park'. If you like walking Corton has a wood.
Many places for activities, sightseeing and entertainment are within easy reach by private or public transport, for example Lowestoft with its Historic High Street, not forgetting the famous 'Scores', Nicholas Everett Park at Oulton Broad which houses the Lowestoft Museum, or the pretty seaside town of Gorleston which has an 18 hole golf course.
